The raven is not a mascot. It is a way of being: curious, observant, adaptable, and playful even in the harshest of country. They cross vast distances, notice what others pass over, and return carrying the spark of a view only they have seen.

At home in the desert, they reside in a land of contradiction- one starved of water, yet shaped entirely by it. The desert asks us to look past easy judgments. Though it may be a harsh teacher, those who find their niche thrive among the treacherous beauty. In doing so, they imbibe themselves with an experience few will know. And hopefully, at the right time, release that beauty back out in their own way. How much prettier is the desert flower for blooming despite all odds? What greater than an act of kindness in the harshest of places? Go far. Bring something back.
